Newcastle's ready to be entertained like never before with Robbie Williams set to perform at McDonald Jones Stadium for the first time on 17 November 2026.

It is the third concert announcement in as many weeks with Newcastle to welcome fans from all over the state, country and globe for three historic Robbie Williams, Guns N' Roses and Foo Fighters shows.

City of Newcastle lifeguards are getting ready to welcome the global pop star to the region's world-class destinations by renaming Nobbys Beach to Robbie's Beach for the day.

Newcastle's famous beaches are just one of the many attractions locals and tourists can enjoy while watching in town for their favourite artist.

Known for global hits such as Let Me Entertain You, Angels and Feel, Robbie Williams' Newcastle visit is yet another win for the region.

World-class events at McDonald Jones Stadium, along with the opening of Newcastle International Airport, are transforming Newcastle into a powerhouse for the regional visitor economy, creating jobs, backing local businesses and showcasing the Hunter to the world.

The Minns Labor Government is committed to growing regional NSW tourism and securing international concerts and other major events that attract visitors year-round will deliver real economic benefits to local communities.

Minister for the Hunter Yasmin Catley said:

"First it was Guns N' Roses, then the Foo Fighters and now Robbie Williams. Newcastle is officially a world-class stage!

"This isn't just about amazing gigs for locals. It's about pumping money into our economy, supporting local businesses and putting our city on the global map.

"We can't wait to welcome Robbie to our home and show the world why Newcastle is our state's best-kept secret."

"Robbie Williams has dazzled crowds all over the world for years and now it's Newcastle's turn to be entertained by pop royalty.

"Robbie, Foo Fighters and Guns N' Roses in Newcastle's backyard - all landing in Newcastle this year reinforces the Hunter's rapid rise as one of Australia's premier regional event destinations, with major global acts choosing the harbour city for headline shows alongside major international capitals."
