Liberals To Open Five New GP Bulk-billing Clinics

Liberal Tasmania
  • Jacquie Petrusma Minister for Health, Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Minister for Veterans' Affairs, Member for Franklin
  • A re-elected Liberal Government would match Labor's announcement of support to open five new GP bulk-billing clinics.

Indeed, the Liberals announced support for a fully bulk-billed clinic in Legana yesterday.

Labor's promise, to provide clinics and consulting rooms and grants for practices to take on and retain doctors, is hardly new because we're already doing it.

The Liberal Government has already been providing this support for GP clinics around the State.

If Labor want to rebadge the new clinics they can knock themselves out.

The Liberals will match the commitment to five new clinics, no matter what they are called.

They will happen no matter who is elected on Saturday week.

The Liberal Government is ensuring record investment into health - $10 million dollars a day.

    Let's get on with it.

    Let's finish the job.
