Nationals Member for Myall Lakes, Tanya Thompson, has announced the recipients of the 2025-26 Local Sport Defibrillator Grant Program, delivering life-saving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to local sporting and community organisations.
Seven clubs and organisations across Myall Lakes have been successful in securing funding.
"These grants are a game-changer for our local sporting and community groups," Mrs Thompson said.
"By providing access to defibrillators, we're helping to create safer environments where people of all ages can enjoy sport and recreation with peace of mind."
"Every second counts in a cardiac emergency. Having defibrillators readily available at these locations could be the difference between life and death."
The successful grant recipients in Myall Lakes are:
• Coastal United Football Club Incorporated
• Football Mid North Coast (Mid Coast FC)
• Forster Tuncurry Junior Rugby League Inc
• Manning River Dragon Boat Club Inc
• Old Bar Pickleball Club

Mrs Thompson encouraged those who missed out this round to express interest in future funding opportunities.
