Following the completion of new pedestrian wombat crossings in Cooma late in 2022, Council has scheduled additional permanent line-marking work for these new pedestrian safety measures.
Work will commence on Tuesday 6 June 2023 at the intersection of Vale and Commissioner Streets, Mittagang Road and the intersection of Vale and Murray Streets.
Completion of this project is scheduled for Friday 9 June 2023, weather permitting.
Traffic control measures will be in place to allow the paint to dry.
These planned works are subject to weather conditions and Council will keep the community informed if any changes occur.
