This first incident on Monday 20 January, where a car collided with a tree the intersection of Victor Harbor Road and Jacobs Road at Mount Compass and a 76-year-old man died, has been determined to be due to a medical episode.

The second incident on Sunday 16 February, where a 28-year-old pedestrian was struck by a truck on the Port Wakefield Highway and a third incident yesterday (Monday 2 March) where a 20-year-old man was struck by a bus, have both been removed from the lives lost list.

There have now been 18 lives lost on the state’s road compared with 19 at the same time last year.
