We're getting ready to build a new playground at Cheltenham Recreation Reserve, but first we need your feedback on the concept design.
Our plan is to transform the old playground into a more exciting space where kids of all ages and abilities can play, explore, and have fun!
The early design features a custom treehouse inspired by Ewoks, misted water play, a climbing tower with slide, sand play, spinner bowl, spring rockers and lots of swings.
We're also adding special features like the old Cheltenham Station building as a shady spot to sit and watch the fun, and the historic steamroller will become part of the play.
The upgrade is part of our Playground Improvement Plan andshowcases our commitment to creating and protecting inclusive, liveable and sustainable spaces for all to enjoy.
