Sadly, the 81-year-old reported missing from Samford earlier this week has been located deceased this afternoon within the search area at Mount Glorious.
Police would like to thank the media and particularly the community for their assistance in helping to search for the man.
The man's death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
