A search involving Water Police, Volunteer Marine Rescue and Surf Lifesaving Queensland is underway after a deflated life raft was located in Coochiemudlo.
The life raft (pictured) was located around 9.45am this morning in waters east of the island.
Brisbane Water Police are appealing for public assistance to locate the owner of the life raft.
The owner, or anyone who may recognise the life raft, is asked to contact police urgently.
Investigations are continuing.
