The race to find Logan's next generation of legends is heating up fast, as residents from all corners of the city step forward to nominate their local champions.

Mayor Jon Raven says the enthusiastic response highlights how strongly the campaign's eight featured stories connect with Logan's values and identity.

"It's creating real buzz because these aren't actors or celebrities, they're our neighbours, our mentors, our quiet achievers. They're the people who make Logan what it is," Mayor Jon Raven said.

They include 2025 Young Australian of the Year Dr Katrina Wruck and Uncle Ted Williams, a respected Elder whose cultural impact has reached from Logan to Buckingham Palace.

Also featured is Nicky Pati, owner of Spasifik Cuts who's mental‑health initiative His Space supports men throughout the city, and Sara Shams, a catwalk model, disability advocate and business owner whose leadership is shaping inclusion.

"These stories are a reminder that legends aren't only found in stadiums or on stages, in Logan, legends are made every day," Mayor Raven said.

Residents are encouraged to put forward someone who lives, works, or contributes to Logan in a meaningful way.

Whether they're a familiar face who is always there when needed, a fresh voice inspiring others, a community builder making a quiet difference, or even themselves, because every story matters.

"Every suburb in Logan has someone who steps up, helps out or quietly makes life better for the people around them," Mayor Raven said.

"If you know someone whose kindness or commitment strengthens our community, we want to hear about them. Anyone can put forward a Legend; all it takes is a couple of minutes."
