Joondalup Detectives have charged a 33-year-old man as part of their ongoing investigation into an incident in Madeley about 6pm on Wednesday, 13 July 2022.
It will be alleged the 33-year-old man was armed with a knife and assaulted the 20-year-old male victim outside a sports club located on Kingsway Road in Madeley. The victim received a laceration to his chest and was treated in hospital for the injury.
The 33-year-old man from Madeley has been charged with:-
• 3 x Sold a Prohibited Drug;
• 1 x Aggravated Armed Robbery;
• 1 x With Intent to do Grievous Bodily Harm Unlawfully Wounds Another; and
• 1 x Possession of Stolen or Unlawfully Obtained Property.
He is due to appear before the Joondalup Magistrates Court today, 15 July 2022.
