A kind-hearted Maitland mum is celebrating a $200,000 Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot win and can't wait to pay it forward, planning to support her family and local animal sanctuaries with her prize.
The Hunter Region resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in today's Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw, drawn Friday 20 February 2026. She scored $200,000.
The Maitland mum was completely stunned to discover she had won $200,000, having no inkling such an incredible surprise was headed her way.
"Have I won $10,000? Wait, is it more?" she questioned.
"Oh my god! Oh my god! I'm crying!
"Am I dreaming? I just pinched myself, and I felt it! I'm not dreaming!
"The most I've ever won on lotteries is $80! I've never thought about withdrawing $200,000!
"I'm so grateful! My family is really doing it tough right now and I can help them. The timing is absolutely perfect.
"I can't wait to call my sister and tell her the good news!
"I'm a big animal lover. I could probably buy two more dogs!
