Major update 4: Shane Bowden homicide investigation

Police have today charged a tenth man with murder as part of the ongoing investigation into the shooting death of 47-year-old Shane Bowden on the Gold Coast last year.

Detectives from the Gold Coast District, Crime and Intelligence Command, including Homicide and the Organised Crime Gangs Group, and other specialised police commenced 'Operation Sierra Arch' after Mr Bowden was shot and killed in the driveway of a residence on Cox Road, Pimpama, around 12.10am on Monday, October 12, 2020.

This morning, a 26-year-old Bellbird Park man, believed to be a member of the Mongols outlaw motorcycle gang, was charged with one count of murder.

He is scheduled to appear at the Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 2, 2021.
