Make Your Move At Gold Coast Fitness Festival

This July, we're calling all residents to embrace the winter sunshine and 'make your move' towards a more active and healthier lifestyle.

As part of Go Gold Coast Month, the inaugural Gold Coast Fitness Festival provides the perfect opportunity to get out and get active!

The festival will be held at the Broadwater Parklands on Sunday 20 July from 7am - 1pm.

'Some of our favourite local fitness and wellness legends are going to bring a high-energy, action packed morning of workouts, community vibes and good times,' said Division 6 Councillor Brooke Patterson.

'It's so important for us all to stay active and healthy while enjoying the outdoors and what better place to do that than here, overlooking the stunning Gold Coast Broadwater.'

'The best part is, the activities are totally free.'

The wellness legends include Michelle Cassidy from Essence of Living, Michaela Keeling from Miki Mobility, Lindsay from Retro Fit and many more local fitness professionals who will be on stage getting you moving.

Activities for all ages and fitness levels include some boot scootin' line dancing, an intensive POUND workout, Yoga to relax your body and mind, a running group to get your heart rate up and a relaxing chill out zone complete with sound healing.

Fancy a change? Head to our social sport zone where you can try baseball, flag football, golf and other activities.

'We are calling on all Gold Coasters to get involved so bring the whole family along to enjoy a fitness fuelled morning with heaps of fun activities to try,' Cr Patterson added.

'I promise you there will be something for everybody no matter what your fitness level, at this all-inclusive celebration of health, movement, and fun. Come on Gold Coast, Make Your Move!'

Classes will need to be booked in advance HERE.

The event is proudly delivered by the City's Active and Healthy program.
