Making education accessible to all

Australians with disability are receiving more support than ever to get an education.

Minister for Education Dan Tehan said the Morrison Government was removing barriers to education.

"On International Day of People with Disability today, we celebrate our differences and acknowledge our responsibility to make the world a more inclusive place," Mr Tehan said.

"Our Government is investing more than $28 billion to support students with disability get equal access to a quality school education.

"Our youngest learners are assisted through the Inclusion Support Program, which provides more than $500 million to help education and care services include children with additional needs alongside their peers.

"We are also providing more than $12 million annually to support students with disability access higher education."
