Making Toowoomba Region top choice for education

What attracts international students to the Toowoomba Region?

As part of the Study Toowoomba initiative, international students are being asked to have their say on what they love about our region, what attracted them here and how to best market Toowoomba to fellow international students.

Toowoomba Regional Council Mayor Paul Antonio said students would get an opportunity to participate at a free Hackathon event facilitated by edu-tourism provider Camp Cooby between 21 and 23 June.

"Study Toowoomba is the centrepiece of a new public campaign to help the Toowoomba Region become a national and international education destination of choice," he said.

"The International Education Hackathon, which is part of that program, is open to all ages and includes transport, food, activities and the opportunity to network with fellow students, business people and community members."
