Man arrested after car crashes into parked vehicles in Rockdale

A man has been arrested after crashing his car into multiple vehicles in Sydney’s south this morning, NSW Police say.

Just before 2.30am tomorrow, police were called to Bay Street at Rockdale after the driver of a Nissan Pulsar allegedly lost control and crashed into three parked cars – a Mitsubishi Lancer, a BMW and a Mazda CX9.

Officers from St George Local Area Command attended and spoke to the 20-year-old Prairiewood man, who was the sole occupant of the Nissan.

He was arrested after returning a positive roadside breath test. The provisional licence holder was taken to Kogarah Police Station where a breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.107.

The man was charged with driving with a mid range PCA. His provisional licence has been suspended.

The Prairiewood man was granted conditional bail prior to his appearance in Sutherland Local Court on 29 August 2017.
