Police have charged a 19-year-old man with multiple offences, following a number of vehicle and property crimes in Kingaroy on 5 August.
At approximately 4.30pm a woman was walking to her vehicle in a car park on Windsor Circle when it is alleged, she was approached by a man who threatened her with a knife to hand over her car keys.
The woman complied and the man allegedly attempted to steal the victim's car however he was unsuccessful and left the scene on foot.
The 53-year-old woman was not injured.
Around 5pm it is alleged the same man entered a Windsor Circle property through a back door where he threatened the female resident with a knife demanding her car keys.
The man then left the property in the victim's car driving a short distance before abandoning the vehicle.
The 49-year-old woman was not injured.
Around 5.05pm it is alleged the man entered a James Street property through an unlocked door threatening two women with a knife.
He then left the scene with cash stolen from one of the victim's handbags.
Both women were unharmed.
Around 5.15pm a woman was sitting inside her vehicle on First Avenue when she was allegedly approached by the man demanding she exit her vehicle.
When she refused it is alleged he grabbed her by the arm pulling her from the vehicle before leaving the scene in the victim's car, a 2016 Holden Colorado.
The 48-year-old woman was not injured.
The vehicle was later found abandoned on Walter Road in Kingaroy.
Around 1.55am on 6 August, police observed a 2024 Toyota Rav4 allegedly travelling at high speed through Youngman and Haly Street intersection in Kingaroy.
Following further investigations police located both the vehicle and male driver in Cherbourg around 7am, where he was arrested and taken into custody.
It is alleged the vehicle had been stolen from a Railway Terrace address earlier that night.
A 19-year-old Cherbourg man has been charged with 20 offences including four counts of armed robbery, three counts of trespass, two counts each of attempted unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter dwelling with intent, attempted armed robbery, stealing and driving a motor vehicle without a licence and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and enter premises and commit indictable offence.
He is due to appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court today 7 August.
