Man arrested in connection with sexual assault, SA

Police arrested a man today at Buckland Park wanted in connection with a sexual assault which occurred in May this year, according to SA Police.

At about 9am on Monday 3 July, Detectives from Western Adelaide CIB along with members from STAR Operations Section, conducted a search of the property on Nemesis Court and uncovered four insecure firearms, an amount of insecure ammunition, a replica firearm and an active electricity diversion.

The 51-year-old from Buckland Park was charged with rape, possess firearm without a licence, insecure firearm, insecure ammunition and theft of electricity.

He has been bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 1 August.
