As stated by Detective Senior Sergeant Reece Durston, Hamilton City Investigations Manager:
Police have charged a 21-year-old man with murder following the discovery of a deceased person in Rototuna yesterday.
The man will appear in the Hamilton District Court today.
Police will continue to maintain a visible presence in the area in the coming days as a scene examination concludes.
The incident involved people known to one another and Police is not looking for anyone else in relation to the matter.
Police believe there is no risk to the public following this incident.
