Man arrested on historical child sex offences, SA

Detectives from the Special Crimes Investigation Branch Royal Commission Response Team today arrested a 71-year-old Adelaide man for historical child sexual abuse offences dating from 1962 to 1983, according to SA Police.

He was charged with three counts of buggery (the relevant offence at that time), two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse, seven counts of indecent assault and one count of acts of gross indecency.

The man has been bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 22 July.
