Man assaulted and robbed at Fairview Park, SA

Police are looking for a stolen BMW following a robbery at Fairview Park this evening, according to SA Police.

Just after 5pm on Sunday 5 March a man stopped his car in a car park adjacent to Cotton Street when he was approached by two men and a woman, before the two men assaulted him.

One of the men and the woman then got into the victim’s car, a black 2002 BMW X5 with SA registration S138BMY, and drove off. The second man left in a white late model Camry sedan.

The victim sustained minor injuries.

One man was described as being of Caucasian appearance with a tanned complexion, about 45 years, 168cm tall with short black hair and a tattoo on his left shoulder. He was wearing a black singlet and shorts.

The second man was described as having a tanned complexion, 40 years, 183cm tall, with shoulder length brown hair tied back. He was wearing a black and white long sleeve top with writing on the sleeves, blue jeans and motorcycle style boots.

The woman was described as being of Caucasian appearance, 152cm tall with long black straight hair. She was wearing a black and white top and black leggings with black sunglasses.

Police believe that the suspects may have initially travelled to the area in both the Toyota Camry as well as an older model ute similar to a Toyota Hilux with a cracked or smashed windscreen.

Anyone who sees the stolen BMW is asked to call police immediately on 131 444.
