Man assaulted at Pooraka, South Australia

A man has been taken to hospital after he was assaulted at Pooraka this afternoon.

About 2.50pm today (Monday 14 October) police and ambulance crews were called to a house in Van Leeuwen Drive, after reports that man had been seen in the street with injuries to his upper body.

It is believed that he was involved in an altercation with several other men, who left the scene.

The victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and he was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.
