Man assaulted during break-in at Evanston Park, SA

A man has been taken to hospital after being assaulted during a break-in at his Evanston Park home, according to SA Police.

Just after 11.30am, Tuesday 26 September, the victim was at home when he disturbed a man inside his house. The suspect ran off while being chased by the victim who was confronted outside by a second man who struck the victim in the face with a brick.

The victim aged in his 30's received facial injuries and was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.

Patrols searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects both are described as a Caucasian men in their mid 20's one was 183cm tall, bulky build with a bald head. The other is about 177cm tall and carrying a back pack.
