Man assaulted during road-rage incident, NSW

A man has been assaulted after a road rage incident in Sydney’s west overnight, NSW Police say.

About 11pm today, police were called to the intersection of Caroline Chisholm Drive and Hilary Street, Winston Hills following reports of an assault.

Officers from Parramatta Local Area Command attended and commenced investigations.

Officers have been told the driver of a Holden Barina, aged in his 30s, had an altercation with the driver of a BMW, aged in his 20s.

The older man exited his vehicle and allegedly assaulted the younger man.

The injured man sustained a laceration to his lip and a dislocated shoulder.

Inquiries are continuing.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and has not yet contacted police is urged to contact Parramatta Police via Crime Stoppers.
