Man assaulted on train at Seacliff, SA

A man was assaulted on a train in the southern suburbs earlier this afternoon, according to SA Police.

Police were called to the Seacliff Railway Station after a fight erupted on the southbound train about 4.30pm on Saturday 24 September.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, sustained a laceration to the head. He was taken by ambulance to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment but his injuries are not believed to be serious.

Police searched the Seacliff area for two suspects, a man and a woman, both aged in their early 20s, but did not locate them.

The male suspect is described as of Caucasian appearance, 180cm tall, with a stocky build, short brown hair and wearing a black hoodie.

He was with a woman of Caucasian appearance, with blonde hair, wearing a pink Everlast hoodie.
