Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are interviewing a man in relation to a fatal hit-run in Dingley Village last week.
Emergency services were called to Spring Road after reports of a man's body being located around 4.30am on 20 December by a passer-by.
A 53-year-old Dingley Village man died at the scene.
A 19-year-old Dandenong South man handed himself into police this afternoon and is currently being interviewed.
