A man will face court after cannabis worth $215,000 was allegedly seized during a vehicle stop on the state's Central Coast last week.
About 3.30pm on Tuesday 11 August 2026, officers attached to Northern Region stopped a van travelling northbound on the Pacific Motorway, Alison.
During a search of the vehicle, police allegedly located and seized four large bags containing 44kg of cannabis.
The seized drugs have an estimated potential street value of $215,000.
The driver of the van – a 39-year-old man – was arrested and taken to Toronto Police Station.
He was charged with supply prohibited drug greater than or equal to commercial quantity.
The 39-year-old was granted conditional bail to appear before Newcastle Local Court on Wednesday 7 October 2026.
