Man Charged After $50K Goods Seized in Pakenham

Cardinia Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man and seized more than $50,000 worth of goods in Pakenham.

Detectives executed a search warrant at a business on Spark Circuit about 9am on 29 August, where they located and seized scaffolding, power tools, a boat and three trailers.

A 34-year-old Officer man was arrested at the scene and has since been charged with burglary, theft, handle stolen goods, obtain property by deception and unlicensed driving.

Police will allege some of the goods were stolen from properties in Nar Nar Goon and Caulfield last week.

The man was remanded to appear before Dandenong Magistrates' Court on 1 September.
