A man has been charged following an investigation into an alleged brawl in Sydney's eastern suburbs over the weekend.
About 8am on Sunday (7 September 2025), officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended Bondi Beach in response to an unauthorised assembly.
To ensure community safety, local police with assistance from the Public Order and Riot Squad, Operation Odin, and the Central Metropolitan Region High Visibility Patrol unit conducted patrols in the vicinity.
During the assembly, members from different groups allegedly became involved in a brawl, with police intervening.
Following extensive inquiries, on Friday 12 September 2025, a 29-year-old man was arrested at an address at Edmonson Park.
He was taken to Liverpool Police Station where he was charged with affray and common assault.
The man was granted conditional bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Thursday 9 October 2025.
Inquiries are ongoing.
