Man Charged After Drugs, Guns Seized in Forster Raid

A man has been charged after drugs, firearms and ammunition was allegedly seized during a property search in the state's Mid North Coast.

Earlier this month, detectives attached to Manning Great Lakes Police District commenced an investigation into drug supply and firearm possession in Forster.

Following inquiries, about 10.50am yesterday (Thursday 16 April 2026) police executed a search warrant at a home on Caribbean Avenue, Forster.

During the search, police located and seized a gel blaster pistol, shot gun ammunition, 72g of MDMA, 1kg of cannabis leaf, 26g cannabis seeds, 3.1g of cocaine, $7300 cash and other drug paraphernalia.

A 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Forster Police Station, where he was charged with possess unauthorised prohibited firearm, possess ammunition w/o holding licence/permit/authority, two counts of supply prohibited drug indictable & commercial quantity, supply prohibited drug small & indictable quantity, three counts possess prohibited drug and knowingly deal with proceeds of crime.

He was refused bail to appear at Bail Division Local Court 1 today (Friday 17 April 2026).
