Man charged after stabbing in Hornsby.

A man has been charged after an alleged stabbing at Hornsby last night, NSW Police say.

About 7:10pm today, emergency services were called to a licensed premise on Station Street, Hornsby following reports that a man had been stabbed.

Police have been told that an argument occurred between two men, which resulted in a 30-year-old man being stabbed to stomach.

The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics and taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.

Officers from Kuring-Gai Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

A 54 year-old man was arrested and taken to Hornsby Police Station.

He was charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and common assault.

The man was bail refused to appear before Hornsby Local court tomorrow

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
