Man charged and jailed after masturbating outside school in Cabramatta

A man has been charged after exposing himself and masturbating outside a primary school in Sydney’s South-West, NSW Police say.

Shortly before 8am today, police attended Gilmore Street, Cabramatta, following reports of a man masturbating within view of parents and children.

Police located a 44-year-old man a short distance away. He was arrested and taken to Cabramatta Police station.

He was charged with two counts of commit act of indecency with person under 16 years, two counts of commit act of indecency with person 16 years or over and wilful and obscene exposure near a school.

He was bail refused and appeared before Liverpool Local Court today.

The man was found guilty of all offences and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment, with a non-parole period of nine months.
