A man has been charged as inquiries into local cannabis supply continue.
In January 2019, officers attached to Oxley Police District commenced Strike Force Yarramunmun to investigate the supply of cannabis in the Gunnedah and Muswellbrook areas.
About 12.05am (Tuesday 12 March 2019), officers attached to Oxley Police District Criminal Investigation stopped a vehicle on Denman Road, Muswellbrook.
Police searched the vehicle, locating 4.7kg of cannabis leaf.
A 51-year-old Gunnedah man was arrested and taken to Muswellbrook Police Station.
He was charged with two counts of supply an indictable quantity of cannabis, and refused bail to appear before the Muswellbrook Local Court today (Tuesday 12 March 2019).
