Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following an alleged sexual assault on a city-bound train last week, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told a woman was sexually assaulted on the Cranbourne train line on 11 October.
The 85-year-old Hughesdale man was charged today with sexual assault and has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 8 December 2017.
