Man charged following Epping paramedic assault

Police have charged a man after a paramedic was allegedly assaulted in Epping on 17 May, Victoria Police say.

Paramedics attended a residential address on Glenloth Court about 12.40am, where a 44-year-old paramedic sustained facial injuries.

A 24-year-old Derrimut man was arrested at the scene.

He was charged today with one count of assault emergency services worker (summary), one count of assault emergency services worker (indictable) and resist emergency services worker.

The man has been bailed to appear at Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on 5 October.
