Man charged following indecent assaults on women in Casula

A man will face court next month after allegedly indecently assaulting several women in Sydney’s south-west, NSW Police say.

Police will allege a man allegedly approached several women in separate incidents at Casula Railway Station, between 13 December 2016 and 18 March 2017.

It will be alleged the man indecently assaulted the women before stealing a number of items.

Officers attached to Liverpool Local Area Command commenced an investigation into the incidents.

Following a number of inquiries, a 24-year-old man was arrested at Railway Station on Bigge Street, Liverpool, by officers attached to Police Transport Command about 3.15pm on Wednesday 19 July 2017.

The man was taken to Liverpool Police Station where he was charged with three counts of assault with act of indecency and two counts of steal from person.

He was granted conditional bail and is due to appear at Liverpool Local Court on Wednesday 9 August 2017.
