Man charged following robbery and stealing from Hobart Woolworths stores, TAS

A 21 year old Glenorchy man has been charged over three separate incidents at Woolworths stores in Hobart, Tasmania Police say.

On Sunday 2 September between 17:00hrs and 18:30hrs, police attended three separate incidents at Woolworths stores in the Hobart Division.

The man was described as:

  • Mid 20s
  • Pale complexion with dark hair
  • Wearing red top, black tracksuit pants with white stripes down the side, white shoes and a black cap.

The man was interviewed and charged with the robbery, assault and stealing in relation to the incidents.

Police would like to hear from any witnesses who saw a male matching this description in the vicinity Woolworths, Sandy Bay, Argyle Street or Campbell Street at this time is asked to phone Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers.
