Man charged following Rosebud incident

Armed Crime Squad detectives have charged a man following an alleged firearms incident and attempted aggravated burglary in Rosebud yesterday (22 November), Victoria Police say.

Police were called to Spray Street about 12.50am following reports of a gunshot heard.

A 17-year-old female who was home at the time was not injured and there was no damage to the house.

A 35-year-old Rosebud man was arrested nearby.

He has since been charged with attempted aggravated burglary, reckless conduct endangering life, reckless conduct endangering serious injury and prohibited person in possession of a firearm.

The man has been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 10 December.
