Man Charged for Threat to Kill via Carriage Service

Detectives from the Counter-Terrorism Investigation Group (CTIG) have charged a man following investigations into threats being made towards a member of the public in Brisbane.

It will be alleged that the man made verbal threats via a carriage service on Thursday 14 August and Monday 18 August.

Following investigations, officers executed a search warrant at a Thomas Street, West End address today, Thursday, 18 September, where they arrested a 43-year-old West End man.

The man has been charged with one count each of use a carriage service to make a threat to kill, using a carriage service to menace, harass or cause offence.

He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on 26 November.
