A man has been charged over multiple alleged sexual touching incidents in Sydney's Inner West and CBD.
Between April and August 2026, officers from Sydney City and Burwood Police Area Command commenced investigations into several reports of alleged sexual touching.
Following extensive inquiries, about 11am today (Wednesday 12 August 2026), detectives from Burwood Police Area Command attended an address in Homebush and arrested a 30-year-old man.
He was taken to Burwood Police Station where he was charged with eight counts of sexually touch another person without consent and two counts of attempt stalk/intimidate intend fear of harm (personal).
The man was refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court 7 tomorrow (Thursday 13 August 2026).
