Man charged over 24 theft and fraud offences, NSW

A man will appear in court today after he was charged with 24 alleged theft and fraud-related offences in the Brisbane Water and Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Commands, NSW Police say.

About 10am yesterday, officers from both commands investigating alleged break and enter and property offences in the area attended a home on Yurunga Avenue, San Remo.

Police will allege a search of the premises resulted in goods suspected of being stolen, amphetamines and cannabis located and seized for forensic examination.

A 27-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken to Wyong Police Station, where he was charged with 24 offences, including break, enter and steal; steal from motor vehicle, and fraud.

He was refused bail, to appear at Wyong Local Court today.
