Man charged over assault and disturbance at Greenbank, QLD

A 31-year-old man has been charged in relation to the assault of another man near a school at Greenbank yesterday afternoon, Queensland Police say.

It is alleged around 3pm a 39-year-old woman was driving in her car near Goodna Road when another vehicle was driving aggressively towards her.

She pulled over near a school and the men in the vehicle allegedly approached her car and confronted her. A 37-year-old male member of the public intervened and was punched and knocked to the ground.

He received serious facial injuries as a result of the incident.

A 31-year-old Boronia Heights man has been issued with a notice to appear for assault occasioning bodily harm, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and assault.

He is due to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 17, 2018.
