A man has been charged following a brawl in Chester Hill on the weekend.
About 3pm yesterday (Sunday 4 June 2023), police were called to a stadium on Waldron Road at Chester Hill responding to reports of a brawl.
Officers from Bankstown Police Area Command attended; however, the group had mostly dispersed.
It's believed members of two football teams were allegedly involved in a fight following a game.
Following inquires police arrested a 21-year-old man in Merrylands, who was taken to Merrylands Police Station where he was charged with affray and behave in offensive manner in/near public place/school.
He was granted conditional bail to appear before Bankstown Local Court on Thursday 13 July 2023.
