A man has been charged over alleged firearms and prohibited drug offences near Griffith yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 4pm yesterday, police attached to the Griffith Local Area Command searched a property on Short Street, Yanco.
Police seized firearms, ammunition, methamphetamine and cannabis.
A 61-year-old man was arrested and taken to Leeton Police Station.
He was charged with possessing unauthorised firearm (x2); possessing unregistered firearm (x3); possessing unauthorised pistol; not keep firearm safely (x3); possessing ammunition; and possessing prohibited drug (x2).
The man was granted conditional bail to appear before Leeton Local Court on Friday 15 September 2017.
