A man has been charged with kidnapping and domestic violence offences after a stand-off with police at Horsley Park this afternoon, NSW Police say.
On the evening of Sunday 16 September 2018, a 22-year-old woman was walking on Cam Street, Cambridge Park, when a 29-year-old man in a Ford Mustang, who is known to her, allegedly forced her into the car.
The woman was driven to an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Club House on The Horsley Drive, Horsley Park, where she was allegedly bound to a pole and assaulted over the course of the next two days.
Today (Tuesday 18 September 2018), she was forced back into the Ford Mustang by the 29-year-old man and driven to Stafford Street, South Penrith.
When the man exited the vehicle, the woman escaped from the car and ran to a nearby property where police were contacted.
Police from Nepean Police Area Command attended and spoke to the victim, commencing an investigation.
The woman was taken to Nepean Hospital in a stable condition.
About 2.10pm the same day, officers attended the Club House on The Horsley Drive, to arrest the 29-year-old man.
He fled into the property and officers from Fairfield Police Area Command, with the assistance of Traffic & Highway Patrol Command, the Public Order & Riot Squad and further specialist police, established a perimeter at the location.
About 4.10pm the man was arrested without further incident.
He was taken to Fairfield Police Station where he was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV), take/detain person with intent to obtain advantage cause actual bodily harm (DV), breach AVO (DV), and stalk/intimidate intend fear physical harm (DV).
He was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court tomorrow (Wednesday 19 September 2018).
