Man charged over Millicent break-in series, SA

Following a lengthy investigation by Millicent Police, a man has been arrested over a series of break-ins in the Millicent area earlier this year, according to SA Police.

The 26-year-old Millicent man was arrested yesterday and charged with numerous counts of serious criminal trespass and theft, all occurring in the Millicent area between January and June. He was also charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle and driving while unlicensed.

Of significance, he was charged with a break-in on 23 June at Millicent where six firearms were stolen.

The arrested man was refused police bail and will appear in the Mount Gambier Magistrates Court today, Thursday 10 August.
