Man charged over Sandy Bay evade incident, TAS

A 24 year old New Town man has been charged over an evade incident in Sandy Bay early on Monday morning, Tasmania Police say.

The other two men who were in custody have been released without charge as police determined they were passengers only in the vehicle.

The man was charged with:

Evade police

Disqualified driving

Breach of Bail

Breach of a family violence order

Firearms offences

Resisting a police officer

The man is currently remanded in custody and will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court at a later date.
