Man charged over sexual assault of two women, SA

A man has been arrested in connection with the sexual assault of two women on the weekend, according to SA Police.

It will be alleged about 11.45pm on Saturday 22 July, two women accepted a ride from a man not known to them and were driven into the city. During the trip, the man sexually assaulted both women and dropped them off a short time later in Victoria Drive, Adelaide.

On Monday 24 July, Holden Hill CIB detectives arrested a 36-year-old Northgate man and charged him with two counts of indecent assault and rape. He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on 8 September.
