Man Charged Over Sydney Metropolitan Drug Supply

A man has been charged with several drug supply offences following an investigation into the supply of illegal drugs in the Sydney Metropolitan area.

In June 2023, detectives from the Central Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad South formed Strike Force Malud, to investigate the alleged supply of illegal drugs in the Sydney Metropolitan area.

On Thursday 9 November 2023, following extensive investigations, police executed search warrants at homes in Revesby Heights and Pheasants Nest, where they located a quantity of illegal drugs including a large commercial quantity of methylamphetamine, commercial quantities of cocaine and heroin, cannabis, steroids and cash and other items which police will allege are proceeds of crime. The seized drugs have a combined street value of $400,000.00.

A 31-year-old man was arrested at Kogarah Police Station and charged with five offences, including

  • Supply prohibited drug – more than the large commercial quantity
  • Supply prohibited drug – more than the commercial quantity
  • Supply prohibited drug – more than the commercial quantity
  • Possess prohibited drug
  • Deal with property proceeds of crime more than $100000

He was refused bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court today (Friday 10 November 2023).

Investigations under Strike Force Malud are continuing.
