Man charged over Warwick Farm shooting, NSW

Police have charged a second man over a shooting incident at a Warwick Farm unit complex last month, NSW Police say.

About 4.45am on Tuesday 2 October 2018, a 22-year-old man was in the foyer of a building on Browne Parade.

The man was allegedly confronted by two men near the entrance to the building, and was shot.

The injured man returned to the building and emergency services were contacted.

Officers from Liverpool City Police Area Command attended the location and discovered a 22-year-old man who had received injuries to both legs.

The man was treated at the scene by paramedics and conveyed to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

Police officers established a crime scene and an investigation was launched.

On Wednesday 21 November 2018, a 45-year-old man attended Sutherland Police Station where he was spoken to by investigators.

The man was subsequently charged with discharge firearm intend cause grievous bodily harm – accessory before the fact.

He was refused bail to appear at Sutherland Local Court today (Thursday 22 November 2018).

A 21-year-old man has been charged previously and remains before the courts.

Police continue with their inquiries into the incident and have urged anyone with information to contact police.
